We will forever carry the memories of Dorothy in our hearts. A poem from Emily Mathews:

                                 – Our memories build a special bridge –

When loved ones have to part

To help us feel were with them still

                                    And soothe a grieving heart

They span the years and warm our lives

                                    Preserving ties that bind

Our memories build a special bridge

And bring us peace of mind

Graveside services will be held in the spring in Arlington National Cemetery where she along with her husband, John, will be laid to rest.  There are no calling hours.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ironside Funeral Home, Inc., 342 Main St., Oneida.
