Obituary of Lylia E. Gauck

died Wednesday evening October 3, 2007 in the Oneida Healthcare Center where she had been a medical patient since September 23. Lylia was born on March 20, 1952 in Rochester the daughter of Robert Dean and Janice Ackley Clemens. She attended Jefferson High School in Rochester. She married Ernest Crossley on June 15, 1996 in Highland Lake Manor, Williamsport, PA. Lylia had been a private home health aide. She was of the Presbyterian Faith. Lylia and Ernest loved to travel with their 5th Wheel Camper and spent the summers in New York and the winters in North Carolina. She loved to spend her time having cookouts with her family, especially her loving grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the casinos in Atlantic City. Surviving besides her husband Ernie, is her step-father Clark Clemens of Blossvale, three daughters and son-in-laws; Cheryl and Brian Bertella of Durhamville, Carol and Ross DuPont of Phoenix, AZ, Annmarie and Larry Watkins of Sunbury, PA, one step-daughter and her husband; Michelle and Rodney Weakfall of Salisbury, NC, one stepson and his wife; Raymond and Jennifer Crossley of Syracuse, for sisters and their husbands; Mary and Forrest Young of Newport News, VA, Cindy and Marty Martinez of Williamsburg, VA, Pam and Randy Knapp of Lewisburg, PA, Patricia Dean and Larry Lloyd of Lewisburg, PA, one brother George dean of Williamsport, PA, one step-brother Scott Clemens of Virginia Beach, VA, 29 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held in Selinas Grove, PA at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ironside Funeral Home, Inc. 342 Main Street Oneida, NY.
