Mark Douglas Anderson, 62, of 8511 Elpis Rd., Cleveland, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Oneida Health Hospital ER after being stricken at home. He was born on January 21, 1959, in Oneida, the son of Archie A. and Barbara G. Harrington Anderson. He attended Oneida schools. On February 19, 1980, Doug was united in married to Vicki L. Holley in Canastota. Mark was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic at B and B Lumber in Jamesville for thirty-four years, retiring in 2018. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycle. Surviving besides his loving wife, Vicki, and his father, Archie, of Canastota; are his son, Mark D. Anderson, II, of Stittville; two brothers, Terrance A. Anderson, of Cleveland, Brian D. (Colleen) Anderson, of Canastota; two sisters, Darlene Anderson, of New Braunfels, TX, and Marlene (Blane) Failing, of Cleveland; and many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Randy Major, of Cleveland. Mark was predeceased by a son, Zachary A. Anderson; brother-in-law, David Anderson; a nephew, Christopher J. Tucker; and a niece, Lani Rossman. Family and friends are invited and may call on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the Ironside Funeral Home, Inc., 342 Main St., Oneida from 12:00 (Noon) to 3:00 PM.
